At the beginning of January 2017, the scriptwriters announced that Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Stefan Kapičić (Colossus) and Karan Soni (Dopinder) are returning to Deadpool 2. The first recordings started on 17 June 2017 at Hatley Castle in Canada, the permanent location of the house where the X-men reside. The main images started a week later, on June 27, 2017 in Vancouver. On August 14, 2017 the recordings were stopped after stunt woman Joi Harris during the execution of a stunt on a motorcycle in downtown Vancouver lost control of the vehicle, came up against the glass wall of a building and died. Two days after the fatal accident, recordings were resumed. The filming of the movie was completed on October 14, 2017.
