Actress is a female artist who plays a character in a movie or drama. Actor term is used for male artist. Playing a certain role in a theatrical performance, the actress seems to be likening herself to the person on whose behalf she acts in the performance. By influencing the viewer during the performance, a special playing space and a community of actress and spectators are created.
