His main motivation in the series is to become the King of Pirates and get to find the 'One Piece' (treasure hidden by pirate Gold D. Roger), a task that continues no matter what resistance, as he never surrenders. Mainly the 'One Piece' series focuses on the adventures of Luffy and his crew through the Grand Line. Sanji is a tall man (the 5th tallest of the crew, measuring 1.77 cm and 1.80 cm after the Timeskip), slim, his left eye is permanently hidden by his blond hair. In fact his left eye has been seen very rarely in the anime (episodes 21, 27, 82, 128 and movie 6, although it is only observed briefly and mostly, due to animation errors). However, Oda himself revealed that there is nothing special about his left eye. According to Oda, Sanji mostly looks like a duck, represents him with the color blue, and his smell is of sea food and cigars. Sanji's right eyebrow is shaped like a spiral, and he gets very annoyed if someone (especially Zoro) makes fun of that fact. He usually dresses in quite elegant suits ("jacket, shirt, tie, long pants and perfectly structured shoes" usually black, except for the shirt that is casually changed color), but he is also able to dress depending on whether the weather requires it. After the 2-year timeskip, Sanji covers his right eye and shows his left eye. He grew a small dark beard and some mustache on his upper lip. He is also one of two swordsmen aboard the crew, aside from Zoro. He is the long-awaited musician that Luffy longed for. Many years ago, he was the main musician, and later the captain of the Pirates Rumbar, killed in combat. It is known that before he died he had a bounty of 33,000,000 berries and is known as "Hummer" Brook. His dream is to meet again with Laboon, a huge whale that the Rumbar Pirates promised to see again after their trip through the Grand Line, but which they could not fulfill as they were annihilated. Before all that, he was the leader of a battle convoy in some unknown realm. He was born in West Blue. Brook is a skeleton, as he ate the Yomi Yomi no Mi, a Devil Fruit that allows him to be reborn. The ability of this fruit is that once the user is dead, his soul is allowed to return to his body once more. However, this does not prevent the body from decomposing as the spirit of the person seeks his body. Brook already made use of this ability when his entire crew was exterminated and in his case, Brook took 1 year to find his body that it decomposed to the bone, but he retained a curious afro, the product of (according to Brook), having some roots very strong hair.

Most of the time, Chopper maintains a small deer-human size, his Devil Fruit abilities allow him to change appearance depending on the situation. Chopper's left horn has a metal plate around it as it was broken in a fight when he was younger and Hiruluk treated him. Chopper has a remarkable trait that no other reindeer has: his blue nose. Several characters in 'One Piece' have at first thought that Chopper is a raccoon (from the Japanese "tanuki") due to his form when in his Brain Point form. This is a game with the Japanese word "tonakai", which means reindeer and it is where the "Tony" comes from, in the game it would be Stag Deer, the Chopper for its horns which is shaped like the handlebars of Choppers motorcycles, from there Chopper's full name. Unlike his Brain Point, when Chopper is in his Heavy Point, he is mistaken for a gorilla or yeti.

You've already built this ship, the Thousand Sunny, and now you need to verify that it sails around the world (as the Oro Jackson, Gold Roger's ship once did) and fix any damage. Franky is the second tallest and second oldest member (The first is Brook) of Luffy's crew. When he was Cutty Flam, he was a little thinner and smaller, but when he became a cyborg his body changed radically, giving him a stronger appearance, but a little less human (which is visibly noticeable in his face, which is composed of a metal jaw and nose). He usually wears a Hawaiian shirt and never wears pants. Instead wear a thong, even when the weather is freezing. He is always barefoot. Thongs are very important to him. Jimbei was then sent to the infamous Impel Down prison interned. Luffy came too late with his penetration into Impel Down to free Ace, but could possibly break out with Jimbei. Jimbei stood by Luffy when he regained consciousness from his serious injuries and faced the death of Ace. After Luffy was later reunited with his team, Jimbei met Luffy again on Fishman Island and successfully fought with him to save the Fishman Island. After the fight, Luffy asks him to join his gang. Jimbei then explains that there are now (previously postponed) obligations waiting for him and that he can therefore not join yet. Besides being a great liar and coward (Before becoming stronger) he was considered the weakest crew member of the crew. When the gang faces someone powerful, Usopp tends to run away and hide, but when the rival is defeated he boasts that he did all the work himself. When they are sailing, he plays with Luffy (who is his best friend) and Tony Tony Chopper, which irritates the others, especially Nami. Usopp usually runs away from dangerous situations, but he does not hesitate to risk his life for his companions and for people weaker than him (although only if it is totally necessary). Usopp is the third youngest crew member (only one month older than Luffy). For most of the story, Usopp is a thin, black-skinned teenager with curly black hair, thick lips, and a long nose, apparently an allusion to Pinocchio, a wooden boy from a tale of the same name who owned a nose that stretched when he told lies.
